These private houses in Kyoto, called 'Unagi No Nedoko; bed of the eel', have a narrow front but are long in depth with Bengara-Koushi and Mushikomado.

The inside of the main house and the yard in the house can be seen to separate them. The fittings and furniture can open and close.
